Blonde Morel

Morchella esculenta
Origin: Midwestern US
Season: Spring

Blonde morels are one of the most sought-after mushrooms collected in the wild. So much so, that many areas of the Midwestern USA have a long history of foraging for these elusive fungi. They have a crunchy to egg-like texture, and their flavor is often described as nutty, or similar to pecans. Our blonde morels are wild-crafted in Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, and Missouri.

**NEVER serve morel mushrooms raw, as they must be thoroughly cooked before serving**
